Every year people around the globe observe various holidays. Each holiday season has a set of decorations that will be used. Included among the decorations will be a particular set of table linens comprised of holiday tablecloths, napkins, place mats, table skirts and chair covers. The linens are brought out yearly for that holiday.

Thanksgiving is an ideal example of a holiday season. Everything is focused on the third Thursday in November and the big traditional spread of turkey, stuffing, vegetables, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls and pumpkin pie. Being as it is November, Thanksgiving tablecloths are usually designed with the fall season in mind. Autumn Leaves, Falling Leaves and Fall Festival are all common print selections for Thanksgiving tablecloths. Solid colored linen napkins and placemats that complement the design that is printed on the holiday tablecloths can be used to finish the look. The solid colors used for the table linens are probably going to be orange, brown or yellow.

Christmas is the #1 holiday that people decorate their home for. In most cases, decorations are proudly displayed both inside and outside of the home. Many people use traditional Christmas tablecloths in either solid red or green while others may choose holiday tablecloths that have been imprinted with a Christmas theme. If you use old fashioned holiday tablecloths with prints such as Santa, Christmas Music and Christmas Ornaments, you are sure to bring back childhood memories of Christmas past. If you’re looking to celebrate in a more formal manner then choose holiday tablecloths with a print like Seasons Greetings. A design of poinsettias, Christmas bells, holly and berries have been woven into a damask cloth to produce this tablecloth’s print. Use linen table skirts, chair coverings and napkins to step things up a notch.

The Fourth of July is a summer celebration in the United States that marks our nation’s independence. Many people across the land celebrate with barbeques and firework displays. People will be eating outdoor during this holiday. Medium weight vinyl tablecloths are an ideal choice for this venue. The vinyl is laminated to a heavy polyester backing which makes it the best option for protecting outdoor furniture. Maybe just as importantly, a messy barbeque spill can be easily wiped clean off of a vinyl tablecloth. Pick vinyl tablecloths in navy blue, red or white and decorate the table tops with a festive centerpiece that marks the occasion.

You’ll want to be sure to pick holiday tablecloths that accentuate your household interior because you will probably be using them for years to come. Take time. Shop around. If you can’t find what you are looking for from a local store then buy your holiday tablecloths via the internet. No matter what the holiday, linen tablecloths, whether they be solid colored or theme printed, will certainly make your decorations stand out.
